Acrygel Conversion Course
Acrygel is a hybrid nail System, a cross between gel and acrylic. It applies similar to acrylic, gives you unlimited play and cures under a LED lamp. This course offers expert training in the art of creating a professional set of nails with or without extensions using an Acrygel. Spread over 4 days, this in-depth Acrygel course delivers the perfect balance of theory and practical to give you the knowledge, understanding, confidence and skill to begin your new career and provide a professional nail service. During the course you will be expected to meet certain requirements, produce case studies (where applicable) Any student who does not achieve the pass standard will be invited to repeat the course with no extra charge apart from products used.
This ia a conversion course for nail technicians who hold certificates in manicure and Tip application. Other levels are available call for more information.
The trainers own Health and Safety policies and a brief recap of course basics are included in all courses.
Download our course manual and in your own time read through the contents and be ready to answer the multi choice questions on the following.Presenting as a professional, Health and Safety (It matters), Liability Insurance, COSHH, Salon Hygiene, Anatomy and Physiology, Nails, Disease and Disorders, Client Consultation, Nail Shapes, Record Card and GDPR.
With an understanding of the theory you will spend most of the time enjoying these practical subjects - Acrygel overlays, Sculptured Nails, Tip structures, Nail preparation, Tip sizing and correct application reduced contact area and full contact area, Acrygel application steps, Reverse application, Filing and finishing, Aftercare, Maintenance, Rebalance, Removal. Troubleshoot. This will be taught face to face or via videocall where we can watch each other work in real time following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images.
A recognised qualification. All successful students will be awarded a Professional Certification by Direct Beauty Supplies Accreditation: ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) which will be nationally recognised within the Nail industry. This means that you will be able to gain your professional indemnity insurance with this certificate. This insurance will cover you to work from home, mobile or in a salon. 10% discount through Direct Beauty Supplies.
