Individual Eyelash Extension Training Course
Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions are the application of individual extension lashes to individual eyelash hairs to make the natural lash longer, thicker and more styled. They differ from ‘cluster, ‘party’ or ‘weekend’ lashes as they are lighter and stay on the lash until it naturally sheds. They need to be applied with more precision and with stronger adhesive. A ‘full set’ of 160+ lashes (80 lashes per eye) takes between one and two hours to apply. You can also apply partial sets, or fuller sets, and adjust the price accordingly. This Eyelash application course covers the essential skills to give you the knowledge, skill and confidence to offer a beautiful extension service. During the course you will be expected to meet certain requirements, produce case studies (where applicable) Any student who does not achieve the pass standard will be invited to repeat the course with no extra charge apart from products used.
This course is for beginners and so there are no requirements. Students are required to work on a practice head and each other (if you are the only student booked on the course or learning online you will need to bring a model). Students must be at least 16 years of age.
The trainers own Health & safety policies are covered in all courses. For Salon and Online Courses. Download our course manual and in your own time read through the contents and be ready to answer the multi choice questions on the following. Once the theory has been covered and understood you will spend most of the course enjoying practicing the practical steps. Patch Test, Application, Finish, Lower Eyelashes, In-fills, Removal of the system, Client Aftercare Advice, Top Tips. This will be taught face to face either inside the trainers salon, on your premises if the trainer has travelled to you or via video where you can watch your trainer work and most importantly they can watch and guide you, following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images. In all scenarios there will be case studies and images needed to assess your progress
A recognised qualification. All successful students will be awarded a Professional Certification by Direct Beauty Supplies Accreditation: ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) which will be nationally recognised within the Nail industry. This means that you will be able to gain your professional indemnity insurance with this certificate. This insurance will cover you to work from home, mobile or in a salon. 10% discount through Direct Beauty Supplies.
DBS Certificates are created and forwarded as PDF's at a cost of £20.00 . They are however included at no charge when one of our training kits is purchased. (See options at booking)
