Introduction to E-File Gel Polish Removal Course

In the nail industry there has been much debate over the use of e-files. Many technicians are divided over the use of e-files, some believe that they damage client’s nails; but that is not the case if proper training is given. An e-file on its own cannot cause any damage to your client’s nails; it’s the operator using the e-file that causes the damage. When the correct drill bits and techniques are used then e-files are perfectly safe. The same can be said for hand files, if not properly used they too can cause damage to client’s nails. With everything we as nail technicians use it’s so important to get the right training on how to use them.

This introduction course is purely for removing Gel Polish from enhancements at no time does the E-File make contact with the natural nail. 

For experienced tech's none! If you don't hold a Manicure or have never covered Tip Sizing and Application please see our other courses (Nows the time to do it)

*For E-File you must hold Manicure and a Tip Enhancement qualification. Copies or photographs of these will be be requested.

A recognised qualification. All successful students will be awarded a Professional Certification by Direct Beauty Supplies Accreditation: ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) which will be nationally recognised within the Nail industry. If you choose to use ABT for your insurance to cover you to work from home, mobile or in a salon there is a 10% discount through Direct Beauty Supplies.

You will need to bring an Efile and bits to complete this course.

We do not supply Electric File kits but we are happy to point you in the right direction.

To complete this course a practice model with Acrylic or Hard Gel extensions with a Gel Polish finish. Students are required to work on a model. You can also work on yourself if you are the only student on the course. Your model will NOT leave with a full set

Congratulation you are taking the step towards gaining a new qualification!
Once you book we will forward the relevant manual to you shortly (iIf you can’t see it please check your junk/trash folder) please reply to this email and confirm if you wish to complete the course on line or with a trainer when the restrictions lift? This course although non-refundable will remained booked for 3 months.

Once you have your manual you can start immediately. We will advise the correct drill bits to order and can advise on Efiles, a 30,000rpm drill is recommended. Work through the manual at your own pace, answer the multiple choice questions and get ready for the practical work! Email your quiz answers to me and we’ll move on to the next step.

For Inclass courses:- We will be in touch to arrange a location and date for your chosen course.

For Online Students :- To complete this course you must have a practice model with Acrylic or Hard Gel extensions with a Gel Polish finish, with 2 weeks growth. You can also work on yourself if you are the only student on the course. Your model will NOT leave with a full set. You will work through the Step by Steps for your course with your trainer via video where you can watch each other work in real time following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images. In all scenarios there may be case studies and images needed to assess your progress, your trainer will work closely with you and advise what photographs she will need from you at every stage. Once passed you will receive your certificate and Beauty Website (Backscratchers Students Only)
