Luxury Pedicure Course
Our luxury pedicure includes all the required Pedicure skills plus additional Spa treatments (Masks and paraffin) filing and shaping the nails and finishing with a quality Polish finish. Our pedicure Courses are accredited by ABT, so after completing the course, you can start your own business, or add pedicure to your services.
A perfect treatment to offer and is extremely popular throughout Spring and Summer. During the course you will be expected to meet certain requirements, produce case studies (where applicable) Any student who does not achieve the pass standard will be invited to repeat the course with no extra charge apart from products used.
This course is for beginners and so there are no requirements. Students are required to work on each other (if you are the only student booked on the course you will need to bring a model). Students must be at least 16 years of age. Students should arrive with natural nails free from nail extensions and product.
For Salon and Online Courses: Download our course manual and in your own time read through the contents and be ready to answer the multi choice questions on the following.
Direct Beauty Supplies - A Brief History, Appearance - Presenting as a professional, Health and Safety (It matters), Liability Insurance, COSHH, Salon Hygiene, Anatomy and Physiology, Nails, Disease and Disorders, Client Consultation, Nail Shapes, Record Card and GDPR. Once the theory has been covered and understood you will spend most of the course enjoying practicing the practical steps. Luxury Pedicure Procedure, Treatment Masks, Paraffin Wax, Finish, Nail Polish Application, Pedicure Massage, Aftercare, Maintenance, Removal. This will be taught face to face either inside the trainers salon, in your premises if the trainer has travelled to you or via video where you can watch your training work and more importantly she can watch and guide you in real time following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images. In all scenarios there will be case studies and images needed to assess your progress.
A recognised qualification. All successful students will be awarded a Professional Certification by Direct Beauty Supplies Accreditation: ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) which will be nationally recognised within the Nail industry. This means that you will be able to gain your professional indemnity insurance with this certificate. This insurance will cover you to work from home, mobile or in a salon. 10% discount through Direct Beauty Supplies.
DBS Certificates are created and forwarded as PDF's at a cost of £20.00 (£10.00 during promotion) They are however included at no charge when one of our training kits is purchased. (See options at booking)
A kit is not required to book this course however we have a choice of kits available to purchase. If you source your own kit it must contain the products and tools to cover the complete course.

Once you book we will forward the relevant manual to you shortly (if you can’t see it please check your junk/trash folder) please reply to this email and confirm if you wish to complete the course on line or with a trainer when the restrictions lift? This course although non-refundable will remained booked for 3 months.
Once you have your manual you can start immediately, if you've purchased a training kit it will arrive with you with 2-5 working days, work through the manual at your own pace, answer the multiple choice questions and get ready for the practical work! Email your quiz answers to us and we will file them safely in your student folder ready for your assessment.
For classroom courses:- We will be in touch to arrange a location and date for your chosen course.
For Online Students :- You will work through the Step by Steps for your course with your trainer via video where you can watch each other work in real time following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images. In all scenarios there will be case studies and images needed to assess your progress. Once passed you will receive your certificate and Beauty Website (Backscratchers Students Only)
